Its a great blog, specially for those who are trying to come up with their own website and for those who already have one. Its really informative not only on what your website should appear, but what should it be made of. Its a wake up call for those who are to much preoccupied on the aesthetics of their website but have nothing much stored for the readers, your blog sets such standards and really set the bar high on how to make the content of your page.

The break up of content into several paragraphs is a great way to keep them hooked to the content. Font and font size is also important and that a large chunk of the entire article should be visible on the page and does not need to be scrolled too much. KISS.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts of usability and web design. All of the advice you give could be easily adapted to many sites, and might be able to make a real difference in performance.

Good post, I've just redesigned my blog with clean design as the main focus. I'll be checking my design against your list as I already spotted one thing that I've not done.

thats a nice post...
However, I would love a nice downloadable pdf checklist would have been great to keep the points in mind while designing...
Would you mind making and posting one to me...

Hmmm, great post. I love the example of the quote over at freelanceswitch.com and I'll definitely have to work on fixing up the comments area of my blog. Other than that I think I've done a pretty good job working on the design of my blog articles.

A great post with lots of relevant and useful information. Well done!

Thanks for giving a plug to Web Design Tuts, I'm always looking for ways to make post nav easier, especially with longer articles.

The other sites are all doing a great job as well; I love the way Smashing Mag has the red headings to really separate the content.
Sorry... forgot to say great post - can't wait to read your next one!
